Derby County youngster Lewis Walker struck four goals in an under-23 win.

Lewis Walker stole the show for Derby County’s under-23 side in a big victory over Birmingham City.
The young Rams won the Premier League Cup game 7-2, with Walker scoring four goals.
The 18-year-old scored twice in the first half and netted another two goals after the break in a memorable individual performance.

Walker was praised by Derby County coach Craig Short, who spoke to the club’s official website.
He said: “Lewis started up front and I’m very pleased for him because he’s had to wait a long time for his chance.
“He’s been doing very well in training, he gets on with it and he took his goals really well.
“Before Christmas we played Liverpool here and he got two assists but he’s been looking for his goal, and in terms of his overall play, he’s very physical and he leads the line really well and he showed a lot of composure in front of goal.”
Derby beat competition from several clubs to sign Walker in 2016 after his impressive performances at non-league side Ilkeston Town.
He is the son of former England defender Des Walker, and his older brother Tyler Walker plays for Nottingham Forest.
Derby hope they have the more talented of the two players, and his four goal haul is a step in the right direction.
