Derby boss is wary of visit to Leeds United.

Derby County boss Gary Rowett says he is still haunted by playing against Leeds United.
The two teams clash on Halloween and Rowett says a memory of a defeat at Elland Road in his playing days still gives him chills.
Rowett is wary of facing Leeds even despite their terrible form which has seen them lose five of their last seven league games.

He told Derby’s official club website: “Whenever anyone mentions Elland Road, I remember that fateful night that we went 3-0 up, then Harry Kewell scored just before half time and the crowd lifted.
“They scored the equaliser in the 82th minute and you knew what was coming. The atmosphere was electric and they scored the winner to make it 4-3.
“It was a really hostile environment, we know what it’s like there. They’re not in great form but I’m sure they will be highly motivated so we have to go there and do another fantastic job.”

The game Rowett refers to is nearly 20 years ago ago, taking place on November 11 1997.
Rowett’s Derby had gone three goals up through Dean Sturridge and Aljosa Asanovic.
Rod Wallace and Harry Kewell pulled two goals back for Leeds before Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lee Bowyer sealed a dramatic comeback.
Leeds would settle for the same result this evening, even though it would mean putting their supporters through the wringer in the process.
