Graeme Shinnie is set to leave Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen in the summer with Sunderland and Championship outfit Derby County linked.

Graeme Shinnie is hoping to move to England when his contract at Aberdeen expires in the summer, giving hope to the likes of Sunderland and Derby County, as reported by the Daily Record.
The Aberdeen captain has enjoyed a fine season at Pittodrie but his time at the club appears to be coming to an end. The tenacious midfielder will be a free agent in July as he enters the final few weeks of his deal.
The Daily Record claims that Derby want to give Shinnie a chance to prove himself south of the border.
The 27-year-old has been lined up as a potential replacement for fellow Scot Craig Bryson, who himself looks set to have a new club by the time the 2018/19 season starts.

The Scottish Sun, meanwhile, reports that Sunderland are eyeing a bargain deal for Shinnie, who can play in the centre of midfield as well as left-back.
Both Derby and Sunderland should be encouraged, then, by reports from the Daily Record which state that the former Inverness favourite wants to leave Scotland and try his hand in the English game.
