West Ham United moved to bring in the Turkish international Gokhan Tore on loan from Slaven Bilic’s former club Besiktas in the summer, with a view to a permanent transfer.

But he has struggled in the capital. His form was poor for the club at the start of the season and he then suffered an injury in October. Tore, who according to the London Evening Standard cost a £2.5 million loan fee, underwent surgery on the problem but has not featured since.

Now a report in Turkey is suggesting where he has been, and what is next for the player.

Whilst still technically a West Ham player, Ajannspor is reporting that Tore has been back At Besiktas for over a month.

It goes on to suggest his future is down to him and West Ham with Besiktas looking likely to have him back next season.

The 25-year-old, who has 26 caps for the Turkish national team, has been one of many poor summer signings from West Ham. He has played in just eight games for the Hammers and not scored, with it very unlikely he will add to that tally.

His last game for West Ham was in the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough on the 1st October and it looks like that will stay his last game for the club.
