The Leeds United youngster is set to be pushed further down the pecking order.

Tyler Denton is an exciting prospect but the youngster’s chances of succeeding at Leeds United could be about to adversely affected.
Leeds are set to complete the signing of Laurens De Bock from Club Brugge, as reported by The Daily Express.
If, as expected, the deal goes ahead, then Denton will be relegated to the position of being Leeds’ third-choice left-back behind De Bock and Gaetano Berardi.

Denton gained valuable experience in League Two with Port Vale in the first half of the season and it now appears that he could have to head out on temporary transfer again in order to receive frequent playing time.
The 22-year-old is capable of operating as a left wing-back or a left winger, but he is most suited to playing in a back four and now faces a rather uncertain future at Leeds at a stage in his development when he should be looking to really push on.

A product of the club’s academy, Denton has had to be very patient for first-team opportunities at Leeds and it now seems that he may have to consider leaving on a permanent basis in order to kick-start his career.
