Dennis Mortimer suggests that Aston Villa should look at Luton Town manager Nathan Jones.

Villa are on the hunt for a new manager following the dismissal of Steve Bruce last week.
According to The Daily Mail, the Villans are considering appointing Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as the manager and making Chelsea great John Terry his assistant.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that Brentford boss Dean Smith was the bookmakers’ early favourite for the Villa manager role.
Villa legend Mortimer, though, has suggested that the Championship club should look at Luton manager Jones.

The 66-year-old former midfielder who won the European Cup with Villa back in 1982 told The Football League Paper: “People are pointing to what Dean Smith has done at Brentford, and he’s done very well, but there’s another guy on my radar who I know from being with him for over a year on coaching courses.
“It’s a lad came Nathan Jones. He’s at Luton. He was also with Chris Hughton at Brighton.
“Jones is good at pulling it all together, he does the analysis and he’s a good coach because he works with the players as individuals.”
Left-field suggestion
Jones has been in charge of Luton since 2016 and has done well at the Hatters, but he is a left-field suggestion from Mortimer.
Villa are a massive club and are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship this season, and it is hard to see the Villans hand the managerial role to someone who is in charge of a club in League One despite his obvious talent.
