Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen scored a ten minute hat-trick for Denmark today.

Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has taken the adulation of football supporters on Twitter, after he put in a brilliant performance for the Danish national side earlier today.
Eriksen scored a 10 minute hat-trick for his country, as they picked up a 4-0 win over Bulgaria. Morten Duncan Rasmussen scored Denmark’s other goal in the match.
It was Eriksen’s display which drew the most comment, though, as he was heart of everything good that Denmark did, as they picked up an encouraging victory.
And Eriksen’s performance earned him a great amount of credit on social media site Twitter.
Denmark did not manage to qualify for Euro 2016, which was a major disappointment.

The Danes lost a play off against Sweden, meaning that Eriksen will have to watch the competition from afar this summer.
Eriksen has now earned 60 appearances for Denmark, and he has scored on nine occasions for his country. This was his first international hat-trick.
Eriksen is likely to have a major part to play for Tottenham next season, and he should be fully refreshed as he has this summer to rest up.
