Tottenham have reportedly submitted an offer for the Barcelona midfielder.
Spurs are facing a tough competition from Serie A giants Napoli who are willing to pay over £30 million for the 23-year-old creative playmaker.
The north London club remain the only side in the Premier League to not have signed a player, and they should do everything to lure Suarez away from Camp Nou before the transfer window closes.
Suarez joined Barcelona last summer from Villarreal but has struggled for regular games. He is further likely to drop down the pecking order, should Barcelona add the likes of Coutinho and Dembele to their ranks.
Suarez is a highly talented creative playmaker. In his short career, he hasn’t been able to settle down at a club which has hampered his growth to a certain extent.

He was superb during his spell with Villarreal in the 2015/16 campaign, where he scored four goals in 33 appearances.
He was a first choice starter at the club, and showed his creative work coming in off the flanks and played an important part in Villarreal’s run to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals.
So, what can he bring to the side?
He is a natural playmaker who loves to receive possession between the lines and run at the opposition defender, sprinkling passes to create opportunities for teammates or may be creating shooting chances for himself.
He has got incredible technical abilities, and his first touch is very good. Most importantly, he is a clever midfielder and versatile enough to play on either flank.
His passing range and vision are one of his major traits. While he is not a typical goal scoring midfielder, he still chips in with important goals from time to time.
Suarez needs Tottenham more than Tottenham need him. He needs to play under a manager who will trust him and boost his confidence.
And he would get an ideal team in Tottenham, and an ideal manager in Mauricio Pochettino should he make the move.
