Tottenham Hotspur have missed Moussa Dembele during his absence.
Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele
Moussa Dembele returned to Premier League action with Tottenham yesterday, after missing the last six league games due to a ban he received last season for a clash with Diego Costa, and he thanked the Spurs fans for helping him through, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
Spurs ran out comfortable winners against Sunderland yesterday, despite the narrow margin of victory.

The Belgian international played 74 minutes, and his presence in the Spurs’ midfield seemed to provide them with precisely what they have been missing at the start of their campaign.
Dembele thanked the fans for their constant support, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter page:
Dembele moved to White Hart Lane in the summer of 2012 and has gone on to make 160 appearances for the Lilywhites.
He has become a key component to the way that Tottenham play, and his ability to carry the ball from a deep-lying position is something that Maurcio Pochettino’s men severely lack when the Belgian is absent form the team.

Spurs fans will be hoping that his return to the side will see them continue their unbeaten run in the league, and help turnaround their Champions League campaign after a poor start.
