Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele sat down for an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, and shared the key elements that Mauricio Pochettino looks for in a player before bringing him to the club.
The Belgium international has been in exceptional form for Tottenham so far this season, and has been a major driving force behind everything good that Pochettino’s side have done.
They currently sit in second position in the Premier League table, albeit a distant 10 points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, and will be looking to close the gap on Antonio Conte’s men tomorrow at White Hart Lane against Everton.
And the 29-year-old raved about the current culture at Tottenham, brought around by Mauricio Pochettino, highlighting the qualities that the Argentine looks for in a player, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports:

“The manager and staff explain all the time that they want a certain type of person at this club who you can trust and it’s becoming a big family who want to strive for the same goal. He wants people who will fight for the club, who will fight for each other, have respect for each other, respect the rules and everything around it needs to be good before you touch a ball. For us, it gives us a good atmosphere at the club.”
Chelsea are massive favourites for the Premier League crown, and rightly so, but with the West Londoners not playing until Monday night, the Lilywhites have a fantastic opportunity tomorrow to eat into the 10 point gap that is currently separating the two sides.
A win over Everton will be no easy task, however, with Ronald Koeman’s men entering the game as one of the league’s in-form sides.
