Real Madrid fans have hit back at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp for suggesting that Zinedine Zidane’s side are favourites tonight.
Liverpool take on the Spanish giants in a mouthwatering first leg Champions League showdown.
Both teams have a number of key players missing from Virgil van Dijk to Sergio Ramos, and as of today, Real will also be without Raphael Varane.
But Klopp told his pre-match press conference that he ‘heard outside’ that ‘everyone’ is saying that Real Madrid are favourites and he has ‘no problem with being the challengers’.
Supporters of the Spanish club have hit back at the Liverpool man’s comments, as they feel he is playing mind games and just trying to take the pressure off his own players.
Whilst both teams have their issues at the back, it could be argued that Liverpool have the most fearsome front three, or even four if you include the in-form and red-hot, Diogo Jota.
Either way, both sides will feel that their opponents are vulnerable in some way because of their lack of quality in defence.
