Everton have been linked with an ambitious move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

Everton have emerged as shock contenders to sign Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez, The Sun claim.
Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri is said to be a huge fan of the Chile international and wants to offer cash to the Gunners in January.
Sanchez’s contract is expiring and he is yet to sign a new deal, meaning Arsenal risk losing him on a free transfer in June 2018.

Everton’s plan is ambitious, and likely too unrealistic.
Sanchez has been frustrated with Arsenal’s inability to compete for major trophies, but the North London side are a lot closer than Everton.
The forward starred as Arsenal beat Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park last week, his best performance of the season so far.
Everton have had an underwhelming start to the season and have struggled for goals after selling Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
Already a Champions League place looks well out of the question, making it even more unlikely Sanchez would sign up.
