Aston Villa have offered midfield talisman Fabian Delph a new four-year deal, according to reports.
Fabian Delph is considering his options after being offered a new long-term deal at Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mirror.
Delph, 24, has entered the final season of his current contract, and his recent fine form would make him one of the most sought after commodities in the summer transfer market were Villa to fail in their efforts to keep him in the midlands.
A new lucrative four-year deal is reported to be on the table, however, and, having already spoken of his commitment to the club, manager Paul Lambert remains confident of retaining the now-England international’s services for the long-term.

Signing from Leeds United in August 2009 for around £6 million, it took some time for Villa to see the best of Delph, with injuries hampering his progress during his first few seasons in the Premier League.
The club’s midfielder talisman made his long-awaited breakthrough during the 2013-14 campaign, however, with his starring performances earning him widespread plaudits, as well as calls for a first senior England call-up.
Those demands were realised after a successful start to this term, with Delph since earning three caps to thrust his name further into the limelight and ensure there will be no lack of suitors if talks with Villa fail to progress.
