Ferdinand felt that Leeds had been unfair by broadcasting the opinion and encouraging a pile-on on social media.
However, Jeff Stelling and Andrea Radrizzani had rather differing views.
Whatever your opinion on whether Leeds should have published the video, it is difficult to defend Carney’s opinion.
Leeds had won five games on the bounce prior to the suspension of the season last term and were simply showing no signs of tiring, as they cruised to promotion.
