
Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to emerging reports linking them with a move to appoint Gennaro Gattuso as their new manager.
The Italian is reportedly someone Daniel Levy is keen on, and as you can imagine Spurs supporters had plenty to say about this.
Gattuso, of course, has a history with Spurs fans, having caused quite a scene back in 2011 when he played against Tottenham with AC Milan, headbutting Joe Jordan in a spectacular outburst of aggression.
Gattuso is known for being a hard-man, and the idea of having a no-nonsense gaffer has excited a number of Spurs fans.
Supporters believe that some of their players need a fire lighting underneath them, and Gattuso would certainly pull no punches when it comes to telling the team what’s what.
Whether or not the 43-year-old is appointed or not remains to be seen, but it seems as though there is a section of the Spurs fanbase who think that the Italian is the jab in the arm the squad needs right now.
Of course, there are other supporters who don’t think bringing in a manager with this style to the club, and after Jose Mourinho reportedly fell out with a number of players for his approach, we can understand that point of view.
