Dele Alli has posted on his Instagram story that he is ‘proud’ of Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son winning the Premier League’s Golden Boot award.

The Tottenham forward was one goal behind Liverpool’s Mo Salah in the race for that award heading into the final day of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

Salah came off the bench to score during Liverpool’s win against Wolves, whilst Son netted a brace as Spurs put five past Norwich City – they ended up sharing the award.

Not only did Son pick up a Golden Boot for his efforts in Tottenham colours this season, but he also helped his side to Champions League football.

Nonetheless, after Everton’s game against Arsenal, Alli simply posted on his IG ‘proud of you by brother’, as he also posted a clip of him and Son in Spurs colours.

There’s no doubt that Son is one of the world’s best forwards and he is proving it in the best league in the world.

It also needs to be remembered that Son won his award after scoring zero penalties, whilst Salah is Liverpool’s regular penalty taker.

The two players behind Son and Salah were Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane – once again, both are regular penalty takers.

So, to think if the South Korean star actually took spot-kicks where his numbers would actually be.

Either way, Antonio Conte has one remarkable forward line to unleash in the Champions League next season.

Not only are Son and Kane going to be a threat to all, but January signing, Dejan Kulusevski, is also showing that he can match their crazy levels.
