Tottenham Hotspur are all set to move into their new home next week.
Tottenham ace Dele Alli spoke exclusively to Sky Sports after being shown around the club’s new stadium, and he gave his instant reaction on the magnificent new arena.
Spurs have been forced to play all of their home games at Wembley Stadium since the start of the 2017/18 season, but their long wait to play at their new home will come to an end next week when they play host to Crystal Palace.
Tottenham certainly need a boost, having taken just one point from their last four Premier League outings, and their place inside the top four is now under serious threat.
Dele was in good spirits, however, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports yesterday, describing Spurs’ new stadium as ‘amazing’, and suggesting that it already has the same feeling as the old White Hart Lane:
“It still has the same feeling of when I was playing at White Hart Lane. It’s amazing and we’re all very excited, we’ve been waiting for this for a long time. It’s finally come.”
Tottenham’s state-of-the-art stadium has a capacity of just over 62,000, and it has already been labelled as the finest arena in the game.
And Spurs will be hoping that their move into their new home will coincide with an upturn in form, as they look to secure Champions League football for another season.
