Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli took to Twitter on Thursday evening to celebrate two years at the club.
Alli joined Spurs from MK Dons on 2 February 2015, although he was initially loaned back to MK Dons for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
Since his senior Spurs debut on the opening day of last season, the 20-year-old has gone from hotly-tipped youngster to one of England’s biggest stars of both club and international football.
Named the PFA Young Player of the Year in recognition of his superb debut season in the Premier League, Alli has kicked on even further this term, already comfortably surpassing his overall goal tally from his maiden campaign.
Thursday marked the second anniversary of his arrival at the club, and he tweeted a light-hearted message to celebrate.
Unsurprisingly, Spurs fans were quick to respond to their hero’s tweet, and they nearly all replied in exactly the same fashion.
