Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli has just signed a new contract which will keep him with Mauricio Pochettino’s side until 2024.

Dele Alli has thanked Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy for handing him a new contract.
Alli had years left on his current Spurs deal, but Levy showed foresight to get the England international’s future sorted before it even became an issue.
Alli has been handed a pay rise, which boosts his wage up to £100,000-a-week (The Times).
And the 22-year-old thanked Levy for offering him new terms to stay at Spurs.
“I love being here, I love being a part of what this club is doing and where we’re heading,” Alli said.
“It’s a nice gesture from the chairman because I had a few years left on my old contract, but nothing changes, I’m still going to keep working as hard as I am and keep fighting and being a part of this team.”

Alli’s commitment to the future is positive news for Tottenham in a week where it has been desperately needed.
Spurs’ failure to beat Manchester City on Monday evening saw frustrations mount around Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
With Spurs’ stadium still not built, accusations were made that this season was simply going to waste.
However, Spurs are still right in the thick of the top four fight and their victory over West Ham United last night has taken them into the quarter finals of the League Cup, as they search for their first piece of silverware since 2008.
