Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is looking to have an improved season this time around.

Alli endured arguably his most difficult campaign at Tottenham last season, after struggling with injury.
Alli, who is on a £100,000-a-week contract at Spurs (The Times), seemed to fail to find his best form for much of the season, and he was often played in a deeper role by Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham have strengthened their midfield this summer though, with the signing of Ndombele.
And Alli believes that Ndombele’s arrival will bring the best out of him.
“Yeah, possibly. Last season we had great midfielders as well. He’s come in, he looks comfortable and he’s a great player,” Alli said.

“It’s an honour to have him at Tottenham. As an attacking player, it’s always nice to know you have people behind you who are comfortable on the ball and you don’t have to worry about defending.”
Tottenham broke their transfer record on Ndombele last month, after Daniel Levy sanctioned the transfer.
There is great excitement about what Ndombele could do at Tottenham, especially after he created an assist with his first touch in a Spurs shirt during Pochettino’s side’s match against Juventus.
Tottenham are in action again on Thursday, when they take on Manchester United.
