Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has told the club’s official Twitter page that West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster played well.

Spurs failed to win against West Brom away from home on Saturday afternoon, as they played out a 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns.

After a goalless first half, Nacer Chadli put the Baggies in the lead in the 82nd minute, but Alli restored parity for Spurs just a minute from full time.

West Brom goalkeeper Foster played an important role for his team, making as many as eight saves.

Tottenham midfielder Alli has admitted that his side needed to be more clinical, but he has also praised the 33-year-old Foster for his display.

Visitors Spurs had 71% of the possession, took 20 shots of which eight were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
