Dele Alli may be making himself into Tottenham Hotspur’s version of Didier Drogba, due to his tendency to perform on the big stage.

Drogba was the ultimate big game player during his time with Chelsea, with the target-man thriving under pressure.

And Alli has the same character trait, as he seems to come alive on the big occasion.

Alli scored for Tottenham against Chelsea in his most recent appearance, and his record on the big occasion is now hugely impressive.

Alli is becoming the man to rely upon in the biggest moments, with the Tottenham man always raising his game when under the spotlight.

Alli now has goals in two FA Cup semi-finals, and he has hit the back of the net against the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid during his time with Spurs.

With Tottenham having a huge week coming up, with games against Inter Milan and Arsenal still to come, Mauricio Pochettino’s side need their side’s key players to come to the fore.

And Tottenham can almost certainly rely on Alli, as he seems to be becoming the man for the biggest occasions.
