Tottenham Hotspur thumped Stoke on Saturday afternoon.

Dele Alli has paid tribute to the “outstanding” Tottenham Hotspur fans following Saturday’s 4-0 win at Stoke City.
Goals in both halves from Son Heung-min helped Spurs into a comfortable 2-0 lead, before Alli and Harry Kane added further efforts.

The victory saw Tottenham go fourth in the Premier League table and maintain their unbeaten start to the season – two wins and two draws.
Thousands of Lilywhites supporters made the trip to the Britannia to cheer on their boys in a show of passion which was acknowledged by the 20-year-old at full time.
He told Spurs’ official Twitter page: “They were outstanding. When we come away to places like this it’s important that they’re behind us and keep pushing us to the end.
“They haven’t stopped singing the whole way through and I’m delighted to play for a club like this.”

The win itself is excellent, but there were two other things which will make manager Mauricio Pochettino extremely happy tonight.
First, Son’s brace is certain to delight the Argentine manager, given his lukewarm first season in English football last term, but the South Korean forward may just kick on this time around and few would back against him doing just that.
And Pochettino will be pleased for Kane, who came into the clash on the back of an 11-game goalless streak for club and country, but the 23-year-old striker – last season’s Golden Boot winner with 25 goals – will now look to build on that one today.
