Tottenham Hotspur seem to be on their way back to their best.
Speaking to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow, Spurs midfielder Dele Alli discussed how his side seem to have finally turned the corner, and explained how he is happy for Tottenham to go under the radar in the Premier League title race, as quoted by the Hertfordshire Mercury.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, as they head into the vitally important Christmas period, which could end up defining their season.

And the 20-year-old England international shared how now is the time for Spurs to really kick on, as they prepare to take on top-four rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, as quoted by the Hertfordshire Mercury:
“It does feel like we’re turning a corner. Every team goes through a spell where their form drops a bit. I think we’ve gone through that and we’re now coming back stronger. We are definitely title contenders. We’re happy to stay under the radar, keep plugging away and keep getting the results we need.”

After their game against United, Spurs have a fairly kind festive fixture list, before they face the big one on January 4th – Chelsea at White Hart Lane.
Both Pochettino and the fans will be hoping that they have closed the gap on their West London rivals by the time that fixture comes around, and if that proves to be the case, Tottenham will well and truly be involved in the Premier League title race.
