Tottenham Hotspur had a fairly busy day yesterday, as the club finally sealed the transfers of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Pau Lopez.

Players also departed Spurs on deadline day.

Clinton N’Jie headed to Marseille as part of the deal for N’Koudou but two young Spurs talents also headed out.

Nathan Oduwa and Luke McGee both left the club for Peterborough United on loan until January yesterday.

Goalkeeper McGee saw himself slip down the pecking order after the arrival of Spanish stopper Lopez from Espanyol and will now be tending sticks at London Road.

McGee has been in and around a young Spurs first-team for the past 12 months or so and is therefore close with many of the club’s big names – including Dele Alli.

The England international had a special message for the young ‘keeper on Twitter yesterday:

The former England under-17 international has previously spent time on loan with non-league Harlow but this will be his first experience in the English Football League.

McGee, who signed a new deal until 2019 with Spurs a year ago, will be battling with Ben Alnwick for the number one spot at the League One club.
