Dele Alli opens up on criticism from Tottenham Hotspur fans.

Dele Alli has told The Daily Mail that criticism from rival fans means nothing to him, but admitted that it affects him if the vitriol stems from Tottenham Hotspur supporters.
The 21-year-old is slowly but surely getting back to his best after scoring one and setting up three in Tottenham’s last two Premier League games.
But his current form does not take away from the fact that it is undoubtedly Alli’s most ineffective season since joining in 2015 and manager Mauricio Pochettino dropped him for the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month

The former MK Dons starlet has often found himself in the crosshairs from Spurs fans on social media as a result of his wayward form, and the England international admits that it’s hard not to dwell on such a reception from the club’s fanbase.
“I always think I can do better, I can do more for the team so it’s just about working on myself and my own game,” he told The Daily Mail.
“People’s opinions are changing all the time and you’d be more worried if the other fans liked you as a player.

“When your own fans start disliking you then it changes and you think about it a bit more.”
Alli is undoubtedly a brilliant talent and he remains one of the most exciting young players in European football, but consistency has been his enemy this season and only when he performs to a high standard on a regular basis can he be considered world class once again.
