Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has admitted to ESPN that he struggled at the start of the season.
Alli has enjoyed a wonderful campaign at Spurs, where his reputation has only increased.

However, the 21-year-old has admitted that it was difficult for him being a marked man at the start of the campaign.
“I think at the start of the season I struggled a little bit in the first few games, because maybe I didn’t expect [opposition] players to be that used to me, so I had to change my game a bit,” he said.
“I started getting a little bit higher and getting a few more goals.”
Alli did take a while to hit top form this season, after he scored just three goals in his first 15 matches this campaign.
However, since November time, Alli has been in amazing form.

The England international has finished the season on 18 goals, and he also claimed nine assists.
Alli’s strong performances helped Spurs put together another impressive campaign.
Tottenham ended up finishing in second place in the Premier League table, and rivalled Chelsea for the title for much of the campaign.
