The Tottenham star scored his second international goal on Saturday but was left frustrated by his wastefulness.

Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli admitted to ITV after England’s 2-0 win over Malta on Saturday that he needs to be more clinical in front of goal, as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
The Three Lions cruised to a 2-0 victory over the minnows at Wembley, with Alli scoring the second goal after fine work from Jordan Henderson.
That is the 20-year-old second goal for his country, coming on his 14th cap, and adds to the 12 goals he has scored in just 55 appearances for Spurs.

However, Alli himself was left frustrated with his own performance in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier, and admitted that he feels he must start being more lethal in front of goal.
The young star told ITV, via the Standard: “I do like to get in the box and to get goals and assists and I can’t complain because the chances were there today. I just need to be a bit more clinical.”
Alli may be disappointed with himself, but he has not left much room for frustration in a superb last 15 months.

The star, who was named the PFA Young Player of the Year at the end of his fine debut campaign in the Premier League last term, has been billed as an integral star of the future for both club and country.
Former England striker turned pundit Stan Collymore insisted before the Malta clash that Gareth Southgate should build his claim to be named full-time boss around Alli’s talents in midfield.
Southgate, along with Spurs fans, will certainly have been delighted to see Alli get his name on the scoresheet, even if he could feasibly have added more to his tally.
