Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay has faced calls for him to be sacked in recent weeks at Hillsborough.

Chansiri went to the training ground earlier this week, where he discussed Wednesday’s abysmal run of form with the players.
Luhukay’s future was expected to be the main topic up for debate, but it turns out that Chansiri was not interested in hearing any complaints against the Wednesday boss.
Instead, Chansiri told Wednesday’s players that he was not holding Luhukay to blame for the Owls’ problems.
He said: “The players and I had an open talk. It was not just me talking.
“I tried to tell them that I’m not blaming the coach and I’m not blaming them.
“I want to know what has happened and how we have gone from sixth to 18th in two months and how I can help.

“We, as a team, players and coach have to stick together.”
Despite Chansiri’s backing, Luhukay seems to have lost the backing of most the Hillsborough crowd.
The Wednesday boss has been subjected the chants against him in recent weeks, with the calls for him to be sacked only growing louder.
Luhukay looks likely to be in charge for another game, at least, though, after Chansiri’s latest statement.
Wednesday are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Preston North End.
