This is Dejan Kulusevski’s third season in Tottenham Hotspur colours and it has been quite the ride for the winger so far.
Signed by Antonio Conte, briefly managed by Ryan Mason and now taking orders from Ange Postecoglou.
The 23-year-old has had quite a number of managers – both permanent and temporary – during his time at Tottenham so far.
Dejan Kulusevski initially joined in January 2022 on a loan deal after playing for the likes of Atalanta, Parma (two spells) and Juventus.
At Spurs, he has currently played 86 games in all competitions, with 74 matches for Juve, 39 for Parma and a handful for Atalanta.
When the Swedish winger was told ‘you have played more games for Spurs than you have at any of the clubs that come before’, that piece of information took him by surprise.
The Spurs star admitted, whilst in conversation with ex-Everton midfielder Leon Osman, ‘really, I didn’t know that’, as he told Premier League Productions (18/03/24 at 5:30 pm).
The player himself will certainly be hoping to build on that and raise his bat by playing 100+ matches for the club during these coming years.
Dejan Kulusevski’s Tottenham career
“You have been here 3 seasons now,” said Osman. “You have played more games at Spurs than you have at any of the clubs that came before.”
Kulusevski responded with surprise: “Really?! I didn’t know that.”
Osman then asked: “Is this starting to feel like home?”
Kulusevski expressed with pride: “London is an amazing city. I have a lot of friends, so life is good.”

Going to the next level
The aim for several years now has been to win those trophies and get over that line that seems to be alluding the club.
Postecoglou is pulling no punches, he wants top spot and nothing less!
But for him to achieve his goals, the players need to lift their game, especially from a psychological aspect.
You feel someone like Kulusevski can still reach higher levels and hit double-figure goals and assists in the Premier League over the course of a season.
