The 26-year-old has sent a message on Instagram following his departure, and former Arsenal players Cech and Wilshere are among those who have responded to him.
Deyan Iliev leaves Arsenal for good

Iliev did not make a single appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal, but he was part of the first-team squad in the UEFA Europa League and the Carabao Cup on occasions.
During his time at Arsenal, the 26-year-old was sent out on loan to ŠKF Sereď (twice), Jagiellonia Białystok and Shrewsbury Town.
Iliev was a regular for the Arsenal Under-23 side and was also the captain in recent seasons, but he simply could not establish himself in the Gunners’ first team.
