Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura is reportedly wanted by Tottenham.

According to the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur can’t move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura right now, and are waiting for his £35million asking price to drop.
Spurs rarely do major business in January under Mauricio Pochettino, but recent links to a host of Brazilian attackers suggest that Tottenham could yet be tempted into doing business.
Paris Saint-Germain wide man Lucas Moura – as well as Bordeaux’s Malcom and Ajax’s David Neres – has been touted for a move to North London, with the London Evening Standard reporting that Spurs have a long-standing interest in Moura.

However, it’s noted that the 25-year-old would cost £35million, and Spurs won’t move at that price, meaning they will be waiting for his price to drop before they consider firming up their interest.
Tottenham are often criticised for leaving their business until the last minute, but once again chairman Daniel Levy appears to be willing to sit back and try and wait for his price to drop first.
Spurs did the same thing with Moura’s former Paris Saint-Germain teammate Serge Aurier last summer, with La Parisien reporting over the summer that Spurs were hoping to strike a cheaper deal than the €25million (£22million) PSG wanted.

Ultimately, Spurs ended up paying a similar price for Aurier anyway, but Levy now appears keen to play a similar game with PSG in an attempt to land Moura for much cheaper than his current £35million asking price.
PSG may stand firm, just as they did with Aurier, but with Tottenham ready to sit back and wait despite Unai Emery’s suggestions that the winger needs to move on, a deal before the transfer deadline may be unlikely.
