But now Villa supporters want to see their boyhood fan work his magic from the get-go and potentially spoil Tottenham’s European party.
Tottenham’s chances of securing a top-four finish are now out of the picture, as they now look over their shoulders heading into the final few games.
If they drop points and results go against them then they may find that they will miss out on Europe altogether.
The last thing they want is Grealish rocking up in North London and putting Tottenham players on their backsides.
Spurs don’t want to head into their final game against Champions League-chasing Leicester needing something to secure a top-seven finish.
Either way, it does seem as though Grealish will start, although it will be a surprise if he lasts the whole 90 minutes given his lack of game time in recent months.
