Yesterday, Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went live on Twitch to stream himself playing FIFA 21 with his friends.
It was just a casual gaming session, but the Gabon international gave an interesting five-word answer when asked about Martin Ødegaard.
You can hear one person ask: “Can you tell Ødegaard to sign?”
While he waits for the game to load, Aubameyang responds: “Definitely. I will ask him.”
As you will know, the Norway international must return to Real Madrid in the summer, so Arsenal will need to fork out a big sum to land him permanently.
However, the Gunners should take encouragement from Ødegaard’s alleged stance on the move.
Football London claim that the 22-year-old has loved his time in north London so much that he has told close friends he’d like to stay.

Despite that, Football London add that he will not force a move away from Zinedine Zidane’s side, despite his happiness under Mikel Arteta.
In that respect, it is up to the Gunners to make a good offer to the Spanish giants, or else he will presumably stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The ball is in Arsenal’s court.
They still have Ødegaard for a few more months, so hopefully, Arteta and Aubameyang can keep trying to woo the playmaker even more before his loan deal ends.
