Some Chelsea fans actually want Paulo Dybala to join Tottenham Hotspur, after rumours that they are both chasing him.

The Daily Star backed up claims in France that both Tottenham and Chelsea would be offered the chance to sign Dybala for £40 million yesterday.

Dybala appears to be reaching the end of his time at Juventus, with a move to the Premier League looking more and more likely.

But Chelsea fans aren’t keen on the idea of Dybala joining them, and they have even suggested that they would be happy to see Jose Mourinho’s side sign him.

Dybala actually came close to joining Tottenham once before, but the transfer never materialised due to costs.

The Argentine should be a cheaper purchase this time around, but Chelsea fans’ reaction to the links really does highlight how his stock has fallen.

Dybala was once considered one of the most dangerous attackers in world football, but he has struggled with injury of late.

For Spurs, Dybala would certainly be a high profile capture, and he would add quality to their starting line-up.

However, whether investing such a large sum on an injury prone player would be wise remains to be seen.
