Leeds United defender Luke Ayling has said on Stadium Astro that Niall Huggins was brilliant against Arsenal on Sunday evening.
Huggins made his debut for Leeds, as the youngster came on as a substitute against Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old left-back came on as a substitute in the 53rd minute, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side lost 4-2.
Ayling was impressed by the performance of the youngster and raved about him after the match.
The defender said on Stadium Astro: “Niall’s come in the second half, didn’t look like his Premier League debut here at a place like this, done absolutely brilliant.”
How did Niall Huggins play against Arsenal?
Huggins came at a point when Arsenal were 4-0 up and were playing well, and it was not easy for the young left-back.
However, the youngster did well during his time on the pitch and did not get fazed by the attacking forays of the Arsenal players.

It was the youngster’s professional debut, and it was one that he will remember.
Huggins was solid at the back, did not try to do anything flashy, and did his job well.
According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old had a pass accuracy of 88.2%, took 21 touches, and made one clearance.
