Patrick Roberts is currently on loan at Celtic from Manchester City.

Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has told The Scottish Sun that he wants Patrick Roberts to stay at the club next season.
Roberts is currently on an 18-month loan deal at Celtic, but the winger is scheduled to return to his parent club Manchester City at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has progressed well at the Bhoys and has established himself as an important player in Brendan Rodgers’s team.
The former Fulham youngster has scored 15 goals in 55 appearances in all competitions for the Glasgow giants.

Celtic defender Boyata, who is 26 years of age and was on the books of City from 2006 until 2015, has said that he would love Roberts to stay at Celtic Park for the 2017-18 campaign.
“If I had to choose, then of course I would have Patrick in my team but it’s not up to me,” Boyata told The Scottish Sun about Roberts. “If he goes back there then good luck to him.”
Roberts is a very good winger, and the 20-year-old would be an important player for Celtic next season if he decides to remain at Celtic Park.
The problem is that the youngster will surely want to play for City in the future. While working under Brendan Rodgers must be great, Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is a dream manager, and playing under the former Barcelona head coach is going to help Roberts improve and develop his game.
