Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against St Johnstone at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.

Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has suggested to The Scottish Sun that he was impressed with the performance of his teammate Anthony Ralston at the weekend.
Ralston featured for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership game against St Johnstone at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 18-year-old defender started the encounter and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Glasgow giants won 4-1.
It was the teenage right-back’s first start for the bhoys, having previously made two substitute appearances for Brendan Rodgers’s team.

Celtic defender Boyata was impressed with the performance of Ralston. The 26-year-old former Manchester City man has also expressed his surprise at the strength of the youngster.
“Anthony is a strong boy,” Boyata told The Scottish Sun. “It’s difficult to call him a boy, he’s so strong.”
“You could see Anthony was very strong in all his challenges,” added the defender. “Maybe he’s not a player who shows he’s nervous or stressed but you can always feel something inside your body.
“Against St Johnstone he stayed on top of that and played very well, as did Mikey (winger Michael Johnston). They are good players and hopefully for them they get more games.”
Ralston played well against St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon and showcased his talent and quality; the youngster will hope to get more playing time between now and the end of the season for Celtic.
The 18-year-old defender is still very young and raw, but with time he will improve. The youngster has also a great manager in Brendan Rodgers who knows how to develop young players.
