Dedryck Boyata joined Celtic in the summer of 2015.

Boyata joined the Hoops from Manchester City in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.5 million.
The 27-year-old defender was then Celtic manager Ronny Deila’s first signing of the summer of 2015.

The Belgium international has revealed that after struggling to get much playing time under Brendan Rodgers in the first half of last season, he thought about leaving the Hoops in January 2017.
The former City centre-back, though remained at Celtic Park, and the Belgian has since established himself as an important player for Celtic and for manager Rodgers.

Boyata told The Scottish Sun: “When you look back, it’s been a great year. I’d played a lot of games until an injury setback — but after I got back in, I stayed there.
“Going into the last winter break though, I had only played one game. So I thought January was the time to go and seek football somewhere else. But it never got to the point where I sat down with the manager to discuss what to do.”
Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and look set to win the league title yet again.
The Glasgow giants have also dropped to the round of 32 of the Europa League from the group stage of the Champions League.
