Declan Rice and Harry Kane both enjoyed a stunning night with England on Saturday, helping secure a superb 4-0 win over Ukraine.

The Three Lions took an early lead through Kane before running riot in the second half with Harry Maguire, Kane and Jordan Henderson securing a huge win.

England now face Denmark in the semi-finals at Wembley, facing a huge opportunity to reach a major final under Gareth Southgate.

Kane goes all WWE on England teammate Rice

Almost everyone in England celebrated wildly when each goal went in, but few of us ending up choking our pals in the mayhem.

After Maguire had buried his header to make it 2-0, Declan Rice went over to celebrate with him only for Kane to jump over him and inadvertently put him in a chokehold.

The WWE’s finest would have been proud of it, but it left Rice cursing his luck.

Rice took to Twitter to react as the BBC posted a video of Kane’s chokehold, simply stating ‘why always me?’, as he managed to chuckle at his own misfortune.

There is a keen rivalry between their two clubs; West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are far from friendly, so this moment will have brought laughs from both sets of fans, who will now be coming together to cheer England on against Denmark on Wednesday – hopefully with no more choking involved!
