West Ham United earned a valuable three points against Newcastle United on Saturday.

West Ham ace Declan Rice spoke to reporters after his side’s fine 3-0 win away at Newcastle United on Saturday, and offered high words of praise for his teammates Felipe Anderson and Robert Snodgrass, labelling the pair as ‘outstanding’, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Hammers made a poor start to their 2018/19 Premier League campaign, but Saturday’s win over the Magpies will surely give them huge confidence before their vital back-to-back home games against Cardiff City and Crystal Palace over the next few days.
West Ham now sit in 13th spot in the Premier League table, having taken 15 points from heir opening 14 league outings, and they are just seven points adrift of sixth placed Everton.
Rice was particularly happy after Saturday’s win, and took time to praise two of his teammates when speaking to reporters, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“It’s nice to know you’ve got wingers like Felipe who can take the pressure off and Snoddy on the other wing who adds a different dimension by coming inside. Both of them were outstanding.”
West Ham haven’t won consecutive Premier League games since January 2017, and Manuel Pellegrini’s men will be desperate to put an end to that underwhelming record when they welcome Cardiff to the London Stadium tomorrow night.
And if the Hammers are to enjoy a successful campaign, the likes of Anderson and Snodgrass will have to continue their fine current form for the remainder of the season.
