
West Ham United star Declan Rice has sent a message to Jordan Hugill on Twitter following the forward’s move to Norwich City.
As announced on Norwich’s official website, the Championship club have signed Hugill from Premier League side West Ham.
The forward has put pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2023 and will be hoping to guide the Canaries to automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of next season.
Norwich will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the top flight of English at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
According to BBC Sport, the transfer fee for the deal could be worth £5 million.
Rice, who can operate as a defensive midfielder or as a central defender, has sent a message to Hugill following the forward’s move to Norwich.
Meanwhile, Rice has also praised Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller on Twitter.
The 21-year-old West Ham man was impressed with the performance of Muller during Bayern’s 1-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League on Sunday evening.
