Declan Rice has taken to Twitter to react after West Ham posted footage of the Under-18 side in action against Norwich’s Under-18s.
West Ham tweeted a video showing goals from Mipo Odubeko, Jayden Fevrier and Jamal Baptiste as the Under-18 side won 5-0 at Carrow Road.
The victory saw the Hammers’ young guns progress into the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup, and they did so in some style.
After watching footage of the club’s prospects run riot, Rice tweeted the following three-word tweet.
The England international – who’s been captaining West Ham this season – must be a role model in every sense for these youngsters.
They’ve watched Rice rise through the ranks and play his way to the very top of English football.
He’s now arguably a Champions League quality midfielder.

David Moyes has also given opportunities to Ben Johnson this season, so the likes of Odubeko, Fevrier and Baptiste should certainly feel as if there are opportunities into the first-team.
Jeremy Ngakia was also handed chances by Moyes, although he decided to take a step down into the Championship with Watford.
If Odubeko, Fevrier and Baptiste can keep producing the goods we saw in the footage above, who knows which one of them will be the next to earn a first-team debut.
