The West Ham United winger has been in superb form this season.
West Ham ace Declan Rice spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and raved about the quality of his teammate Robert Snodgrass, labelling the Scot as ‘excellent’.
The 31-year-old as been in fine form for the Hammers this season, chalking up three goals and seven assists in 18 appearances in all competitions thus far.
Snodgrass spent last season on loan with Aston Villa, and it seemed likely that he would leave West Ham in the summer.
A move away from east London failed to materialise for the Scotland international, however, and Manuel Pellegrini must be delighted that he kept hold of the winger.
Andriy Yarmolenko’s long-term injury has meant that Snodgrass has nailed down the right-wing spot as his own this term, and Rice spoke highly of the quality that the 31-year-old possesses, when speaking to the club’s official website:
“Snods has been excellent this year. Ever since he’s come back to the side he’s provided assists, he’s provided goals and he’s come up with a top goal on Saturday.”
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Fulham on Saturday, and Snodgrass will be looking to help his team win four consecutive games for the first time since March 2016.
The Hammers can jump up to seventh spot in the table with a win against the Cottagers, should results elsewhere go their way, and that really would be a great come-back from Pellegrini’s men, after their woeful start to the season.
