West Ham United boss David Moyes has endured a difficult start to life at the London Stadium.

The Irons are still searching for their first win under Moyes, but their latest display would have undoubtedly given them the most believe that they can turn their current situation around as only an 83rd minute winner from David Silva saw City extend their ridiculous winning run at the weekend.

Moyes has overseen three defeats and one draw, so fans would be forgiven for still feeling unconvinced that the former Sunderland boss is the right man to save their season. But Rice has suggested that the boss has his support, while he also explained what he thought of his own display in the agonising loss.
“I’m loving training under David Moyes and his coaches,” he told the club’s official website.

“To get the start here, I never thought it would happen. Luckily, with the injuries, he’s believed in me and he has put me in, and I was happy with my performance.
“I’m only 18-years-old so to test yourself against the likes of Aguero, De Bruyne, Jesus and Silva, I’m only going to learn and get better from it. Today was a fantastic experience for me.”
With Chelsea and Arsenal ahead in their next two games, Moyes undoubtedly needs his players to replicate the same sort of performance they put in at the Etihad if they want to end their wait for a win.
Any points from the next two games would surely give the Hammers a massive boost of confidence heading into the Christmas fixtures – but given their display against City and Rice’s assessment of the work that Moyes and his coaching staff have done, it may not be out of the question to suggest that there may be further signs imminently that the Hammers could have potentially turned a corner.
