Chris Sutton has praised West Ham United and England international midfielder Declan Rice on Twitter.
The former Chelsea striker believes that Rice has been “exceptional” for England at Euro 2020 so far.
Sutton made the claim about the 22-year-old midfielder following his performance for England in their 4-0 win against Ukraine in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 in Rome last night.
Huge player for England
Rice has established himself as a regular in the England team.
The 22-year-old, who can also play as a central defender, has formed a strong partnership with Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips in the middle of the park for the Three Lions.

Not only does Rice do a great job of protecting the England back-line, but the youngster is also able to drive the team forward.
As recorded on UEFA.com, Rice has covered a total distance of 43.2km, has made nine tackles and 22 ball recoveries, and has a pass accuracy of 92%.
Against Ukraine last night, Rice took one shot and it was on target, had a pass accuracy of 89.7%, took 50 touches, and made four interceptions and three clearances.
The West Ham star will be a big player for England against Denmark in the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
