Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have been linked with West Ham United youngster Declan Rice.

Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, is out of contract at West Ham in the summer of 2019, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The 19-year-old in on £3000 per week as salary, according to The Times, which also claims that West Ham are ready to offer the Republic of Ireland international £21,000 per week plus appearance money.
Rice has said that he wants to sign a new contract with West Ham and carry on playing for the Premier League club.
“I want to sign for West Ham and I think it is going to happen,” Rice told The Times. “Playing every week is what is best for me at the moment and hopefully the contract can come soon.”

Positive for West Ham United
Rice is one of the best young players in the Premier League, and the teenager’s versatility is also a boon.
According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the 19-year-old, while German club Borussia Dortmund are claimed to have the West Ham youngster on their radar.
Despite such major clubs reportedly being interest in him, Rice wants to carry on West Ham, and the London outfit should not delay any longer in tying him down to a new long-term contract.
