West Ham United defensive midfielder Declan Rice has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium.
Rice has been linked with moves to both Manchester City and Manchester United in recent times, with the youngster excelling at West Ham over the past campaign.
However, Rice has only just penned a long term contract worth £30,000-a-week at the London Stadium (The Sun).
And the West Ham ace has admitted that he is only focusing on playing for the Hammers right now.
“I know that there’s speculation but during the season last year I just signed a new five-year contract with West Ham. So my focus is fully on playing for West Ham,” he said.
“I’ve got a great connection with the fans; the fans love me and I love them and that’s the way it is at the moment. I’m not thinking about anything else, for sure.”
Rice has become a fans’ favourite at West Ham, where his disciplined performances have belied his tender years.
The defensive midfielder is already one of the first names on Manuel Pellegrini’s side’s teamsheet.
Rice’s impressive form for West Ham has led him into the England team, and he is now among the players who will represent the Three Lions at the Nations League finals next month.
Pellegrini has previously suggested that West Ham may have to consider offers for Rice, if they became huge, but it seems the youngster has no desire to leave his boyhood club any time soon.
