West Ham United picked up a massive win on Monday night as they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 at Molineux.

It was a dream first half for West Ham fans, with Jesse Lingard’s solo strike opening the scoring before Pablo Fornals quickly added a second.

Jarrod Bowen then smashed home from a Lingard pass to make it 3-0, but nightmares of throwing away a 3-0 lead against Arsenal will have been coming back into the minds of supporters.

Leander Dendoncker brought Wolves back into the game, and when Fabio Silva smashed in a second, the hosts were pushing for a leveller.

West Ham managed to cling on though, and continue their incredible push for European football with David Moyes working absolute wonders.

The Hammers managed to claim all three points despite being without Declan Rice, as his injury meant just a fifth league start of the season for Mark Noble.

Noble was outstanding in the heart of the West Ham midfield, leading by example whilst protecting his defence admirable.

Rice took to Twitter to urge fans not to criticise Noble as they so often do, noting that he was ‘unbelievable’ against Wolves.
