Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have signed Declan John on a permanent contract from Cardiff City.

Declan John has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his move to Ibrox club Rangers from Cardiff City permanent.
John joined Scottish Premiership side Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Cardiff in the Championship in England in the summer transfer window.
The Gers announced on their official website on Friday that they have signed the 22-year-old on a permanent contract and have handed him a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The youngster has established himself as the first-choice left-back at Ibrox, making the most of the chances he has received in the wake of the injury suffered by Lee Wallace.

The Wales international, who can also operate as a left-wing-back, has taken to Twitter to express his delight at signing for Rangers and has thanked the Ibrox faithful.

John is a very talented and promising young defender, and him signing a permanent contract with Rangers is good, both for the player and for the Glasgow giants.
